I need feedback on Photographer & Video... People has said to stick w/ same vendors & other say use separate???
I am looking at Jovon & Pennylane or Motion pictures???
I am torn - anyone have a great video/photographer??????????????

I'm sorry but I didn't visit any of them. My sister visited sherwood but she didn't mesh well with the guy that she had the appt. with. She felt that he wasn't listing to what she had to say and the package was alot more expensive than some of the others that she went to and she was getting less. Hope that may help. I didn't go and see them even though they were my sisters and my house vendor. They didn't treat her good so I didn't bother.

I'm sorry I didn't look at any of those... I know that one of my neighbors used Patken and didn't recieve her video and proofs of her Sept. wedding until December!
im using patken..i absolutly love them..and if it takes a while to get the proofs..then thats fine..cause you dont have to make the last payment until you pick those up..so it gives me more time to save

haha I never thought of it that way! Good point...
besides the work they do..thats a big reason why i booked them
you only have to pay 2/3 of your balance at least 1 month before the wedding date..any way you want..i can do $5 one month and $1,000 the next..as long as its 1 month before..and then you pay the other 1/3 when you pick up your proofs which they say is about 2-3 weeks

Everyones experience is different I guess. I used Patken in 06 and my proofs were ready when I came back from my Honeymoon. Video took 3 1/2 months. Thats pretty normal. Many photographers have similar timelines.

I am using Patken also. I absolutely love them and their work. My cousin used them for her September wedding and received her proofs after her honeymoon and the video a couple months after. She worked with them on how she wanted her album. They are so easy to work with and their work is amazing.

I fell in love with Patken when I went to meet them . . . I got a great deal and had a wonderful meeting with Nadire in the one on Jericho Tpke. . . she did not pressure me at all AND she was telling me stuff i could take out for a cheaper package!! it was great!

I booked w/ ADA for both and was really impressed, but I LOVE Pennylane for video, but I wanted to use the same person for both also, thats why I picked ADA
