Hey! I am so stressed out over the photographers for my wedding (October). I have seen about 7 different ones. The ones that are the least expensive have aweful photos, and the others are way too expensive. I have also heard horror stories about ADA. Does anyone have advice? Please--only out east in Suffolk County....I can't travel too far!

Re: Photographers--Who are you using?
Met with Mark Kauffman, 12th Night, Queens Bridal, VIP and Verdi. Finally picked Verdi just because I clicked best with Mindy and Rich.
I think this was the hardest vendor to choose.

Re: Photographers--Who are you using?
I'm using Mark Kaufman; here's why:
-LOVED pics I saw from 2 brides on this board: SonicStef and Michele 31; they also highly recommonded him
- You do not have to buy albums, you can do only photography. We liked that. Maybe after the wedding we'll make albums through him or someone else.
-He is no cheese. Mostly candids, no 'groom running away' shots, no 'bride being held up by the groomsmen' shots. I think if you wanted that, they would do it, but they seem ore photojournalistic.
Michael O'Neill Photography in East Northport. They have been so easy to work with and did our E pic great!

Re: Photographers--Who are you using?
I'm using ADA and I have had 4 family memebers weddings in the last 2-3 years done by them, all wonderful pictures....
What you have to realize with ANY vendor is its hard for them too, there will always be good and bad reviews....They have to work within a limited time frame...people wandering off...getting distracted...Limited light....a lot of time...and I dont mean this to be rude at all....but if someone is unhappy with the way THEY look...they become unhappy with the photographer...they take wonderful pics( all phtographers) but they cant work miracles...you have to work WITH them to get the most bang for you buck..
