Photographers/band recommendations

Can someone recommend the photographer and/or band they used?

We want a band that will have people (of all ages) up and dancing all night long.

We want a photographer that will take the standard photos but also be able to get creative.

I'm new to this, we've been engaged for two weeks.. help!

There are a number of amazing photographers that we can recm'd....do you have a budget that you're working with?

I have not booked Photographer yet, but there are photos on the review board from a few brides that have used Angelica Glass, the photos are Stupendous. Bands I would recommend are Times Square Orchestra, Renegade, Code Bleu and Faze 4. Good luck with your search.

Hi and welcome!

I agree with Christine--probably should throw out a budget for the photographer and band that you are starting with. Some photographers are as low as $1000 and others as high as $10,000!

same thing with bands...big range!

around what are you looking to spend on each separately?

We are using Renegade for our band. They are not cheap but I picked them because I asked my friend who is a wedding photographer the best band he has seen and he said definitely Renegade.

yay congratulations!

I'm using Leli Photography. I loved his pictures and he was really negotiable with prices. He also added a bunch of extras to our package so we ended up with a great deal.

I still need a DJ too

I highly recommend my band, Soul Revival. They are amazing and I can't wait to have them play at my wedding! FH and I knew as soon as we heard them at their showcase that they were the band for us and we looked at a bunch of other bands too. Soul Revival Link

Can't help you with a band, but Christina Bohn does great pics. Also Patken and Duet are good too. It really depends on your budget. I firmly believe you get what you pay for when it comes to photographers, but if you are on a budget 12th Night is the best choice.

Congratulations!

Band: the two best, by far, that I've heard is Faze 4's Play By Play and Body Heat

Photographer: check out Imagine Studios or Artisan.

I am using broadway entertainment for my dj Janine is so nice and we are using lavendar bridal studios for photography. Very reasonable and Michael the ownder is very nice.

We used Proline Studios for photography and Code Bleu for the band. Both were fabulous. We still get compliments on the band and our proofs are wonderful.

I am using Patken Photography for my photo and video.

Although I am not using a band, I recently went to a wedding and they had an AMAZING band. The name of the band was Rhapsody and they were great. I highly recommend them. My friend who got married is a music major and a music teacher in elementary school so he is very in tune with music needs. Trust me, they were awesome.

My band was amazing!!! Even the elderly with canes were up dancing! The dance floor was packed all night & they played & even learned our special request songs. They are The Touch. Check them out:

I am using Soul Revival too. They have played at a few of my friends weddings and are AMAZING!! I would definately check them out.
As for photographers, we're using a family member from out of state who is a professional photographer, coming in for the wedding. HTH

Just from seeing some of the beautiful work on here I recommend Dan Wagner Photography. We used Lady Kat Photography and she was great. We loved our pictures and she is so talented and easy to work with. Pauline from Lady Kat did a whole photoshoot for us at my aunt's home for 3 hrs before the wedding. We had a great time.

We had Niteflight as our band..they were the best band we saw out of at least 10 bands. We still go see them in the clubs when they play. They also showcase. They were also extremely reasonable.
