Photographers...help!

My list of photographers just keeps getting longer and I have appointments to meet with some of them this week. I am interested in non-traditional, photojournalistic style.
If anyone has any feedback on the below photographers, positive or negative, and any pricing info., please post or send FM...I really appreciate your help!

The only photographer FH and I met with was Imagine Studios. I absolutely LOVE their work. The reasons we booked with Imagine:

* Their work is absolutely beautiful!! I knew I didn't really want modern or edgy photos..I wanted photos that were very soft and romantic. Imagine Studios photos have a very romantic and soft feel to them. Check out the photos for missingthebgene, bride-in-training08 and belongs2danbuckley. Absolutely gorgeous wedding photos!

* Lia is such a doll! It's really important to get along and feel comfortable with your photographer because they are with you the entire day!! Lia is very sweet, FH and I loved her, and we knew we had to have her as our photographer on our wedding day!

* I love how they are a small company.

I am using sherwood triart. They are simply amazing. They are a little more than others I met with but I gave them a budget and the worked to fit it. Definitely worth a look

why does one studio have all stars next to its name?

LIW blocks you from posting about certain vendors for some reason. To see the name of the vendor you need to put spaces or stars in between the letters so that it doesn't get blocked.

I don't know what's up with the stars! Everytime I try to type it, it replaces the letters with stars.
Maybe it's blocked?

Hi,

Duet's base package is $3200 plus tax for two photographeres and an album
12th Night's base package is $1850.

I am using Artistic Images. I loved Imagine but her prices were too high and she was not willing to negotiate. Thomas Paul and Duet were booked on my day.

I love her tooo!! But I feel like you dont get anything else with her basic package except the CD. If anyone knows something diff please let me know! If not her I would go with DUET bec I like that you not only get good photographers but get a lot for the money

With amanda if you want another photographer its 800.00. Her basic package which includes the E-pics for 2,300.

Duet has a combo with Video for either 4299 and a higher package for 4899. The one for 4899 includes 500 pics that they give you i believe on top of the album which is pretty great.
