Photographers/Videographers--Help!

Photographers/Videographers--Help!

I am clueless about photographers and videographers. I know that I want lots of pictures to choose from, some black and white, love the photojournalistic style, but with traditional also...Definitely want vendors that are not intrusive and will not make my guests uncomfortable. I have some recommendations from friends, but my biggest issue is that I don't have any clue what these vendors should cost. I don't want to over or under pay...does that make sense? =-)

Any ladies willing to FM me their photographers and videographers, along with pricing? I have looked through the forums, but most of the time posts simple say that a vendor was 'expensive' or not...I need some real number guidelines!!!

To get it started, here are some vendors I have been hearing about:

Thomas Paul
Millimeter
**************
Christina Bohn
ADA
Leli
PennyLane
Bellarino

Totally open to other options...please provide some pricing if you can.

Thank you SO SO much!!!!!

Hi----Welcome to LIW!

I would just try to make a bunch of appointments and go meet with a bunch of photographers. They'll give you a brochure or something with their prices. I didn't know much about this either, but going to the appointments really helped a lot.

The prices really range a lot, depending on the type of package you want and the photographer u pick.

I'll FM u a few quotes we got too....

You should definitely check out Photography by Christos

He does everything you said you want, and has very reasonable prices. Plus he's a really nice guy!! His prices recently were changed, so I can't give you specifics about that.

For videography, I think you should look into Bellarino Video ...their work is awesome and they get nothing but raves all the time on this site!!

I am in love with my photog Joe from Park Avenue. He did an amazing job. Got 1500 proofs from just his camera. He is an excellent photojournalist.

Tony Yang's really good!

You might need to google him. He's not big on making albums but he takes great photos. I've had a lot of friends that used him.

I had Duet b/c they make albums and they do videos. I totally recommend them! They were great to work with.
