How much should we budget for a photog/videographer for our wedding? We have a tight budget, but certainly dont want to skimp in this area. Is there a certain percentage we should allot to photographer??? sorry, we are new to this!!!!!!!

You can start with a basic package and add on if you want. It's also possible to get a basic package and make the albums yourself fromthe same company the photographers use. My friend is doing this. I'm waiting myself to find out the details.

I'm paying $5,350 for photo with album and video fully edited with chapters and montages, 3 videos. I chose mid range packages for both.

i am just under 10k for both but i have 2 of each and assistants and the packages i have are full of EVERYTHING i think i went over board with what i wanted but its my memories....
but you can do basic packages and just get all the proofs no albums for alot less
so i would say go looking at photo/videos you may want to use and see what their packages are...
most vendors will work with any budget within reason...
