check out twelfth night for photography!! dom will help you to customize a package and payment plan to work with your budget. he is great to work with!!

12th night doesnt do video, but they work with mittermax alot, so i think if you book both they can give you a good deal.

I am not using the same duo for photography and videography but both of the guys I am using are AWESOME and totally affordable. Photography: Mark Kauffman at Angelica Studios (he's a vendor on here) and Videography: Tom Morgan (google him he's a freelance videographer/photographer from nyc)

Edited to add: LOl, I just realized you didnt ask about DJ- oops, o well, maybe you need DJ too!

I booked with Dan Wagner for photography and thought he was reasonable compared to others and didnt think I was sacraficing quality for price. I saw lower priced photogs but didnt like their work or didnt like the experience at the appointment. He's located in Huntington but will travel to Queens.

I booked Golden Moments for video and to me, they are definately on the high end but IMO, they are on a totally different level than some other videographers. I was going to go with Halo that is extremely affordable with packages starting at 900. If you are okay with just basic video that is pretty good but standard, I would check them out.

For DJ, we went with High Energy Entertainment. Great reviews, great to work with so far (his name is Ralph) and very very affordable!

I also checked out these vendors so if you want info or my experiences at any, just FM me...

PAtken- Photog/video
Twelfth Night- Photog/Video
F i n e A r T- Photog/Video
Golden Moments- Photog
Fullview Studios- Photog/Video
LI Sound- DJ
After hours- DJ
In The Mixx- DJ
FM Entertainment- DJ

Re: Photographer/Videographer

I think that some photographers just do it because they know their customers will ask and they would like to get the bussiness as well. Im not saying it will look like a home video but they are definately not videographers by trade and dont specialize in it. On the other hand, some photographers offer video as well and are equally good at both or maybe even better at video. Then there are a few companies that only do videography and I think they are generally more expensive because they specialize in it but that's not always the case, like with Halo who I suggested in my other post.
