Can anyone recommend a good photographer and videographer that are affordable?? I havent even started looking and I heard that its one of the first things u should do (Im so bad with this planning stuff) I like more photojournalism than traditional photography. Any help would be much appreciated :)

DUET! I met with them and booked them last night. Their work is fantastic and they are really willing to work within your budget. You can't go wrong w/ them!

J'adore Love Photography Go to Jadorelove.com and click on their blog. Their packages start at $1500. They are vendors on nycityweddings.com
Video- Couped up Productions very reasonable. If you are not looking for editing $595, light editing $895. The highest package is $1695. He has great work. They are vendors on liweddings.com

Imagine Studios. I cant say enough good things about them. They wont be the cheapest...or the most expensive...but are worth every single penny!

This might be a silly question but I havent met with any yet. How does payment work once u decide? Do u give a deposit and then make payments?

I need this info also.. I just emailed like EVERY videog/photog that liweddings has on the vendor page...
We went to golden moments last night and I like his video, not his photo... and he was a little higher then we can afford.
sooo... ladies, are there any photographers that are AFFORDABLE??

We are using Amanda Picone for photo, Amore Productions for video. Very affordable.

With Proline, we made a deposit when we booked. We have another payment due in July, then one due in November, then final balance once we pick up our proofs.
