We are starting the photographer/videographer search.. I think we already have a photographer picked out.. But I have absolutely no idea what is a normal amount of money to alot for these vendors... We also might want to do a videographer separate than our photographer. Does anyone have any videographer quotes they would be willing to share?? Thanks ladies!

I've seen that quotes are between 4500-5000 for a bigger name photographer... like a more popular company. Going with a smaller 'mom and pop' kind of company, I've seen cheaper - around 3000.

w/o albums, we were able to go with smaller modern owner operated companies for about 4200-4600 depending on timing.

We were quoted $5500 for 2 photographer, 2 parent albums, our albums with 100 photos, videographer, 3 dvd copies, thank yous, and engagement shoot and save the dates and we negotiated down to $4300

Hey -- My total for video and photo is about 5500. That is for 2 photographers, photo dvd, 1 album, and an engagement shoot (thank yous are sooo easy to do online!) (photo total about 3200)
for video, the 2300 includes two videographers for the ceremony up until the toasts, then it's just one ... and 2 dvd copies of my edited video.
I am using two different companies!

Wow...
I paid just $2,100... for single photographer, 8 hours on wedding day, hi-res, fully edited disc, and engagement session. I will likely be adding an album and prints later - but even with that I'd stay $2,500.
