Photographer/Videographer Prices

Hi Ladies,
I wanted to say hello and introduce myself :) I have been on the site for a few weeks now, but never posted anything before. I am from Long Island originally, but have lived in Boston for about 6 years. All I have to say is that planning this wedding from a far as been ore challenging than I thought! This website has been a god-send!!

Have you seen any photographer/videographer prices in the $4,000-$5,000 range? I am just starting researching photographers, and want to plan a trip down to long island. Who would you say are must-see photographers in that price range?

Velvet Studios in Huntington is definitely in that price range. That's who I am using, and, they are at the low end.

ETA: Congrats, and, good luck! I am planning a LI wedding from PA, and it's a pain!!!

Check out Thomas Paul. His work is amazing. Do a google search and you'll find tons of pics of his work.

I got prices from Thomas Paul, Duet, 12th night and Patketn and we were well under that price range

i agree with Duet. We booked with them and our package for photo and video is def. in that range! We got a really good vibe when talking with eric and we also felt we were getting alot for our money

it depends on what you want in your packages...any photographer/video can work within a budget but what are some of the things that you want....albums for yourself...albums for both parents...copyright of all the proofs....thank you cards...blown up pictures how many and what sizes....little brag books....how many photographers do you want how many videographers do you want....

i have been seeing photographers/videographers for about 2 weeks now i am set on one but today i have two more appts....

and also quality of style are you into photojurnalism some photographers like to get more creative then others so it depends on what you are looking for....

Hi! Welcome to the boards. I'm using Michael O'Neill - he's in that price range. He does beautiful work. He doesn't do video anymore but has people he can recommend.

I've also heard wonderful things about Thomas Paul.

you'll find many in that price range...look up Henry chan, his work is amazing and he is in your price range. His pics are photojournalistic and he is real nice

I booked my photo/video with THomas Paul, alot of girls above mentioned him. He is within the price range you posted above, maybe a little more, but def WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
