Hi,

Who is everyone using? Roughly, how much is your photo package & what will it include(how many proofs, how many photographers, how many albums, thank-you's, etc.)? We are having a friend of ours take our photos(he's a photographer), but now I am second-guessing myself, of course. Just curious what kind of packages everyone is getting and for how much.

Thanks

I am using Visual Concepts. I am paying about 5,400 but I am getting my money worth. We get 2 photographers, a 16x 20 engagement shot, a 16x20 wedding picture with a frame, 1 75 wedding book, 2 50 picture books for the parents 100 thank you careds, we get to keep our all proofs and a CD rom of our random pictures from our wedding day. If you need anything else let me know.

Do you know if they have a website to get in touch with them? I think they are the ones who share office with Candlelite? If they are, their work on the walls looks fantastic. Do you know what a more basic package might cost from them?
Thanks

I used www.weddinggroupone.com and my pictures are awesome! I paid about $4,000 for photos and $2,000 for video. They have a photo package that starts at 2,000 I think for 6 hours. I had a 12 hour package because we went to Old Westbury Gardens before the ceremony to take pics!!

yes, Visual Concepts share the office with Candlelite. I would definitely go talk to them. The owners name is Bob. They were my first choice for photographers, but it turned out they were booked for my date. I know someone that used them, and their pictures are incredible.

We're using Paul Marino. We're spending $3,200. We're getting 10x10 Library Bound Album with 50 prints, 2 5x5 Library Bound Albums with 24 prints, 1 11x14, 3 8x10's and 1 black and white colored. We think he's great. He had great reviews back in Feb-March on this board. He's the only photographer in the studio. (He owns it) He also brings a lighting assistant. His work is great. You should check him out. He's very flexible with prices and packages. There are cheaper packages. Good luck!
