I don't know why but I didn't realize photography would be quite as expensive as it is!!! Or maybe I'm looking at the most pricey vendors. Anyone else surprised by this? Or anyone have any recommendations with high quality but low prices?? Thanks ladies!

You should really look into Ken Hild. You can create your own package, and his pictures are incredible. I had a hard time deciding which to use for my album. He was my favorite vendor (besides my rh, of course)

Yes, photography is expensive. But the pictures are going to last forever. We are using Studio 2*7 but they might be a little high for you

Yes they are expensive! I would suggest trying Photos of the Heart and Ken Hild. Ask photographers if their packages are flexible!

look into Fade to Black also. He created a package to fit our budget that everyone else we looked at basically laughed at us. One place wouldn't even return our call. Crazy.

I highly recommend Haris from Photo & Me... We are paying $1000.00 for all day photography, complimentary engagement shoot (we did ours last week and he really took his time to get the shots and no time limit!), 400++ (if you want extra) pictures. He works with an assitant on the day of the wedding and he is great to work with.

Look into T&T Studios. I met Hal at a showcase and he gave me 20% off! Im paying $2600 for 2 photogs and video! Hes great!

This! Gil from Fade to black is great! Very professional and have great prices. I def had 1 company literally laugh at my budget and said I was asking for too much for it. Gil met my price and I'm actually getting more in his package than i had hoped for!

Try Duet - a few of our friends used them and said they were affordable. Their pictures were beautiful too!

Well I haven't actually looked yet. I was emailing various places for prices. I made an appointment with Patken and am going to make appointments with ADA (my RH recommends them but I feel like they will come in too pricey)and Fade to Black. I'll probably also check out Ken Hild and Duet. Thanks all!!!!!
