Photography Help

Photography Help

Hoping for some help here. FH and I are trying to focus on booking photo/video. While it's probably what's most important to me in the scheme of wedding planning, we still have to work within a budget, especially if we want both. We seem to be gravitating towards the style of the smaller studios (we liked White Pear a lot), but they seem pricier than the large studios (Patken offered a lot for the money). Does anybody have experience with any of the following places? Quotes/packages would be HUGELY appreciated.

Imagine Studios
Gina Esposito
Full View Studios
Candid Like Life
The Velvet Studio
Wavecrest Studio
Right Angle Studios
Fade to Black
Silverfox

If you have any great, affordable suggestions that are not on the list, please share those as well! At the moment we're focused on photo. I have my eyes set on someplace for video, just don't know if we can afford it WITH photo...

TIA!!

I'm booked with Lighthouse and they have been amazing so far. You might want to look into them!

Bring your Patken quote with you to negotiate with other studios. MOST places will entertain this, altho some are hard set on their costs. Many places could not beat Patken's quote but I found a photog who met it and added in a second photog (Ken Hild) bc that's why I was hesitant about booking with Patken. FM me for details!

Re: Photography Help

I booked with Imagine Studios and had my engagement photos done recently and I wanted beautiful sunset shots and she took amazing pictures with great color. Lia is a sweetheart and a wonderful photographer! I highly recommend them.

Re: Photography Help

Thank you everybody for your help! We've been to five places and just spent HOURS with both laptops searching over 30 different photography websites!!!

Although I was afraid that they'd totally blend together after a while, I think we've narrowed it down to another 5 we want to see, and then hopefully we can make a decision!

I'm glad photography is what I care most about--hopefully that means THIS is the hardest decision we'll have to make. There are SO many!!!
