Photography Help - No pictures of CH or Viennese, etc!!

I'm SO upset I just got my photography proofs and I'm missing so many pictures...

I don't have any pictures of my Cocktail hour (we were mingling with our guests) - so no pictures of the food, ice sculptures, pictures that I have of me with my guests, but no professional ones.

I don't have any pictures of my viennese hour - the food, the take home boxes I made, the sparklers

No pictutre of my cardbox, my sign in cloth or pictures of my grandparents.

What can I do?!

SOmetimes the photographers don't give you all the pictures they take. They weed out the ones where people 'blink' or that they don't think are as good.

As for a copy of ALL of your pictures and look there!

Really?? Did you provide your photog a list shots that you wanted? There isn't much you can do now other than complain to your photog! I'm so sorry!

Even if they didn't give me a picture of ALL the pictures they took, there isn't ONE picture of the cocktail, or viennese...

I didn't think I needed to tell him to take pictures of my ice sculptures, etc...

I still have to pay him if I want to upgrade my photo album or receive all my proofs on a CD or get a better thank you card - do you think I can negotiate it?

I also dont have any from coctail hour. It was very hard. I also wish I had them. Maybe you have friends or relatives that you can ask to email you any photos they took.

I don't understand why they wouldn't take pictures of the CH, especially if they weren't taking pictures of us.

Yes, definitely try to negotiate as much as you can. Worst case you don't get it, but it's def worth a shot!

when did you get to your RH? was it RIGHT before CH. If so, the time vendors eat is during CH so probably thats why. During the reception they are supposed to work the whole time so when we feed vendors usually the RH gives them food from CH.

I got to the RH a decent amount before CH and thats when photographers and other vendors ate, so they ate before CH actually started. I have pics from CH but i guess its bc they ate already.

its still no excuse, and they should've thought you wanted pics of this so they should've taken pics quickly before they started eating. Sorry

We got the RH at 3/3:30 (ceremony was at 7:30). We took pictures until 6:30ish, ceremony was delayed until 8:30. There are no pictures between 6 and 8:30, then cocktail hour, and viennese hour.
