Make sure you give a complete list of the pictures you want taken. I didnt- there were some pics that I thought were just automatically done that werent. Now I am disappointed in some of my pics.
Also- you are paying for your photographer for x amount of hours. Make sure he is taking pics through out your reception. I didnt dawn on me till afterwards that I saw the photographer standing around just talking alot of the time. Maybe thats why my proofs online only show 341 pictures.
I pick up my proofs on Thursday- maybe there will be more than they are showing online- but I dont think so.

Re: Photography hint
I gave my photo a list and he literally tossed it to the side right in front of me. He never looked at it. If i didn't force him to take certain pics we didn't get them. He took pics of DH's extended family but I had to yell at him to take mine! And when he finally decided to do it it was right before cake cutting and he tried to pull us out of the room!!

No it doesnt
I do know that we couldnt go take pics at the park because we went to visit MIL who was sick before the reception- but that only took 1/2 hour of the time. Alot more pics could have been taken before and after we came back to the RH

Re: Photography hint
I agree- someone made this suggestion to me and I made a very specific list and gave it to the photographer. We had a an appointment a few days before the wedding and I took him thru it. I also gave a copy to my DOC. I am happy to say I got my proofs on Sunday and every picture I told him I wanted was taken. He worked by himself, but brought an assistant with him and I had close to 1000 proofs. I also found him to be reasonably priced. His website is scottrossphoto.com if anyone looking for a photographer wants to check him out.

Re: Photography hint
This is def good advice!!! But even better - Girls, if your wedding is some time away, start this list now! I met with my photog and game him a list... He told me 'Tell me what pics you def need now, because on the day of you're not going to want to think about this!' He was so right! At the wedding he asked if there was any other pics I wanted, and I said no --- I was having too much fun dancing to think! Now, after the fact, I'm realizing I'm missing pics of little things or certain poses and I'm bummed!

I 10000% agree. Think about what pics you want and if you have to make a canvas on bridal canvas do it and give it to your photographer and MOH. You WILL forget what pictures you want. I did and That's the ONE thing i 100% regret and am worried about.
