Photography ? - How much?

About how much are you spending on photography? I have seen at least 7 photographers. The two I narrowed it down to are both are more than I had originally budgeted for (what else is new ). I just don't know if I should keep on looking, although I loved their work. Plus I want to decide soon!

I am also looking for photographers, as well. I have run across some reasonably priced photographers, although the quality varies. You might want to check out Queens Bridal Studio or the Lavendar Bridal Studio, there's also Ariana studios in Baldwin. With the exception of 12th night I think that they offer packages with Albums, etc.I used the theknot.com and the vendors on this website to search.

Heh DAYM!... I am paying less than that to have my entire party, reception, AND ceremony at the Swan Club.

I guess things are different when the expense for the wedding is coming out of my pocket (and FW).

I hope you got some good pictues for that price.

How much are you paying for your reception? How many people are you having? That sounds cheap... also, don't assume that since people are paying that amount they arent paying out of their pocket as well... We are paying pretty much the same price and I am paying for it all!

i am paying $2,300 for photgraphy. i am getting a lot though.

we paid about $3000 for photography and about $1500 for video

we were very pleased with the results of both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having approximately 55 people at $65 a head. Saturday afternoon wedding.

I guess if I was having close to 150 people or so... I could justify spending more on photography. However, there is no way I can spend more on the photography than I did on the reception! Besides my FW *hates* pictures. I think in 18 months of dating... I have like six pictures of her.

If it were up to her, we wouldn't get a photographer... period. LOL
