About how much are you spending on photography? I have seen at least 7 photographers. The two I narrowed it down to are both are more than I had originally budgeted for (what else is new ). I just don't know if I should keep on looking, although I loved their work. Plus I want to decide soon!

$3699 for photo and video. I was under a strict budget too. I could only spend $2500 on photo and $1200 on video. Duet fit in perfectly!!

I just booked Spotlite last night and their prices were good.

OMG! I got quoted $2300 for photography and I thought that was insane. Are there any places that does this for like under $1000... or am I smoking crack?
Talk about an industry thats WAY overpriced for what you get. They are just PICTURES! How much does it cost to print pictures? PENNIES to the dollar!
Unbelieveable the prices some of these places charge. Makes me ill.

not likely to find anything under $1000. My photographer charges $1100 for just the photographer for the day, no assistant, no prints, no albums.they do give you proofs & negatives though, so you could go that route & do the rest on your own later.

We booked Spotlight also..our package is one of the bigger ones (more pics in our album) and we had to get 4 parent albums..not sure about the assistant..we are paying about 2500

Man... for the insane prices photographers want... I DEFINITELY got into the wrong industry.
Maybe I can tell my FW to get a degree in Photography or whatever it is so she can make some good cash. LOL

Check out Twelfth Night Photography...for one photographer for eight hours with all the proofs, negatives, and a DVD of our pictures set to music, we are paying just under $1,000. If you don't want an album made for you by the photographer, then it is possible to find one for $1000, but if you do want an album, then it becomes pretty expensive. Also check out Silverfox, they are pretty reasonably priced if you don't want an album as well.

Heh DAYM!... I am paying less than that to have my entire party, reception, AND ceremony at the Swan Club.
I guess things are different when the expense for the wedding is coming out of my pocket (and FW).
I hope you got some good pictues for that price.

4200 for 2 photographers and Digital Album
ETA - We haven't paid for the albums yet and wont until we get the proofs back. We are only contracted for our 2 photographers and asst for around 2100.
