Oh my god! Went to three today & got blown away! Who are you ladies using & why & about how much? I looked at ADA Studio, Spelman Studio & Karen Marie Photos. They ranged from $2600-$4500 for 'comperable' packages. Any info would be appriciated!

Re: Photography prices?
Im spending about $5K. Its a lot but I wanted a particular style and lots of proofs.
Photographers prices vary greatly! While shopping we saw some studios charge $2500 for the same thing another studio was charging $10K for!
Just like with any sort of art, the artist is going to determine their pricing based on a wide range of factors.

Re: Photography prices?
I spending the same as Stef. But you don't have to. There are photographers for much less and for much more. Decide what type of style you want, and let us know. I am sure all of us brides can recommend who to look at and what it will cost.

Re: Photography prices?
We are using Creative Compositions and are spending about 4K. It was more than I wanted to spend, but we really wanted good pictures and we've heard such great things about them. This is just for an album with 60 pictures. They give you a credit of 10% of your total package to spend on whatever you want - that way you can get your thank yous, parent's albums, additional pictures etc. My parents didn't want an album - my sister got them one and they looked at in once and it sat on a table for a few years. They would rather just have a few pictures to hang that they can 'enjoy'. My MIL said she would be happy with whatever we decided to give her. So, we'll just let them pick out a few pictures and everyone is happy.

Re: Photography prices?
I am using Maria Celeste, her day fee is $2875. That is for 8 hours, and about 600 proofs. An album and enlargements are extra, but not too expensive. She is not your average wedding photographer...she does mainly B&W/Candids/Photojournalism. I love her work and would recommend her 100%!!! If you like more traditional pictures, two of my friends used Patken and their pictures came out beautiful. Good Luck!

Re: Photography prices?
We used Laurie Studio, and LOVE our album. Ken and Barb were awesome to work with and each and every picture was a work of art. When all was said and done we ended up spending $5800, and it was worth every penny.
