I think the price will range anywhere from $4k-$10k+. I think 5-7k might be somewhat average depending on what is included in your package

We're getting ours for about $2500, including epics and one album and all high-res pics on dvd. No videography.

It's on the low-end as far as price goes.

It also depends on what you are looking for. The person I am using has packages that are very basic and packages that have albums. (12th night) prices start at 1950 and up.

I think it really depends on what you are looking for...
Obviously the bigger a package, or the higher end your package is, expect to pay in a higher range.

If you are getting both the photography AND videography together, you should be getting some sort of discount package deal... check with your vendors.

Like most have said it really depends on who you book with. Just make sure to meet the actual photographer who will be shooting your wedding and see HIS/HER work. It's great if a place has all these albums that are amazing but if that isn't the photographer you will be working with you have no idea what your pictures will look like. Also sometimes you get what you pay for. I know a girl who got a great deal on her photos but after getting her proofs back she realized the guy was no where to be found during cocktail hour as there wasn't a single shot from that time, there was one picture of just her and her sister (who was also the maid of honor) and not a single picture with her and her new sister in law. I also worked with a guy who took his pictures on the beach and there are all those beach garbage cans and beach goers in the back of his photos. With how easy it is to photoshop these things there is no reason we should have to see them in our pictures. Ask your studio if they remove exit signs and other stuff like that from your photos. Shop around, ask tons of questions... what kind of equipment do they use, how to they back up your images... these things do matter!!

We will be paying just under $6k for our photos. This includes an engagement shoot and 8x10 portrait, 2 photogs, our album (digital with 100 photos), 2 parent albums, an 11x14, 2-8x10s as well as web hosting of all of our images, a copy of all of the images (in high res) on a disk and the rights to all of these photos.
