For those people using Patken, did you get the name of the photographer written on your contract? I didn't think to do it today but wondering if maybe I should?
If you want a specific photographer, you should make sure that it's in your contract. Otherwise, you will have no recourse if they try to change it on you or accidentally double book him/her.
Steve's name is written on my contract.
I would definitely do this. This is one of the reasons why I went with an owner/operator and am paying a bit more money. I still got her name on the contract. First and last.
I'm not using Patken, but I would always get names written on the contract if possible!
I got names on my contract. Steve for formals and Nick for Photojournalism. Def. get names!
