Photography recommendations?

I have booked my RH, I am very close to booking my DJ, so now I need a photographer.

Who do you guys recommend?

Thomas Paul is already booked on my date. I am also hoping to not spend too much money (Is $2,000 - $3,000 a reasonable expectation?), I don't feel like I need anything extravagent, but I definitely want someone good and reliable.

I am most afraid of which photographer to book b/c I hear the most horror stories with them.

you should check out twelfth night, velvet studio and Leli photography. They we're all in that price range.

I strongly recommened George from Right Angle. He will create a package that works for you AND STILL TAKE GREAT PICTURES!!! I got my PRO pics and loved them!!!!!! I will be posting some time next week when I'm not working...keep an eye out for them =)

ITA. George is great and very talented. I strongly recommend him. Everybody raved about our wedding pics.

one of the first things you should do is take a look at the different types of photographers that are out there. Do you like more traditional photograhy or more photojournalistic, or perhaps really artistic? There are tons that fit every type of style. Your style preference should be the first thing you figure out, and then from there, you can sort of guage how much you are willing to spend for what you want.

You have to check out Gary with Leli Photography! I love him!!! I'm using him for photo and video. He shoots traditional and photojournalistic. His work is amazing! Check out his website atLeli Photography. When my FH and I met with him and looked at his albums we knew that we wanted Gary to shoot our wedding. We also liked Gary because he was really easy going, no hard sell. I'm taking my E-pics this Monday I'll post them as soon as I get them back. I can't wait! He has packages starting at $3,000 including album, proofs on CD/DVD and full day coverage. Good luck with your planning. If you have any questions feel free to FM me!

Try Patken also. I shopped around A LOT for photographers and fell in love with them when we went there. They do amazing work and are so easy to work with. They don't even really have packages, they customize something depending on what you want. We got 3 parents albums and 2 albums for ourselves, 1classic album and another photojournalism brag book for about 3,000.

Check out Artistic Images. They can definitely stay within your price range and so fun to work with!! I have some proofs in my album (I had to take pictures of the proofs with my digital b/c I don't have a scanner. They quality isn't so good, so please excuse).

We worked with Artie (owner) for regular pics and had Keith for our phtojournalistic images.

a lot of brides rave about Duet & i've heard they have great prices...my cousin had them for her wedding this past nov. and her proofs are stunning. 12th night is another one, along with Silver Fox. Good lucK!

YOu can read my review hes in there.

But youshould start by venturing into the vendors listed here and see what your vision is of your pictures...figure out what you want in a package...1 photog or 2 etc. Then go from there. You will find some arent flexible at all...some are WAAAAAAY out of your price range...until you narrow it down

DO not however...skimp on photography....in the end that is all you have(and video if you do it). I relive my wedding thru my pictures and even after all the time and aggravation of meeting with over 20 photographers Im glad I did it.
