I am getting married at The Woodlands next year. They have 4 preferred vendors for photography which is where I will start my hunt - I like the website of two of them. Sher wood Triart & B. M A T T H E W S. Does anyone have any input on these two? Prices? On the other hand, does anyone have exceptional reviews on other photographers?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Photography & The Woodlands
hi! i have not met with either of those two photographers but i have heard a few things about both...
i have heard of a few people having not such great customer service with b*rett m*atthews...even horror stories...but i have seen some great shots of the woodlands on his blog
as for sherwood triart, their work is amazing! i have heard nothing but great things about them except that they are a little on the pricier side for photo/video duo.
we are using duet- hth!

I used duet. while we loved bre tt matth ews work, you do not get the rights to your own photos for 5 years!!! We werent crazy about ST's prices so we didnt see them.

I am getting the idea that ST is VERY highly priced....is it true they are in the 7-10K range?

We met with ST and they were way too expensive for us. Plus the guy talked FOREVER. We went with Artisan who did a very good job, even though they're not a Woodlands house vendor.

brett does great work, ST is obnoxious expensive and they did my friends wedding and didnt get ANY of the photos she wanted. Duet seems like the best but their customer service skills is MAJORLY lacking.

We met with B. Matthews and they were way overpriced. The individual that we met with was extremely unprofessional and we weren't really even crazy about their work. Plus I heard it takes foreverrr to get your proofs. Check out Thomas Paul....he has lots and lots of reviews on here and the second we met with him we clicked right away, plus his work is amazing!!
