FH and I took our epics yesterday. They called today to say that our epics were ready, so FH went to go get the CD so we can pick out the pictures that we like the best. Apparently we can only get proof quality pictures now and once the wedding is all over and all the albums are done and paid for will we get final *touched up* pictures. FH feels like his pictures are being 'held hostage.'
Is this normal???? I have no idea!!!

Are you serious? You mean you can't get your touched up epics until AFTER the wedding??

We got our e-pic proofs about a month after we took pictures (way before the wedding) - this included all of them being high res/retouched pictures, as well as the raw footage.

Yes - they said we can't get our high res e-pics until after the wedding! I think this is a bit unusual...

Whattt? No way. What's the point of geting them AFTER the wedding- you can't use them at all!

I think that each company has their own way of doing things. Some give you the edited pictures and some don't, some give you the rights to your pictures and some don't. I would call them back and ask them about their policy again.
