I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I am gonna ask again.
I am getting worried b/c I have not booked anything but the reception yet.
FH and I are on a budget, please recommend a photo/video person that can work witha 5k budget. I want soemone creative that will take a lot of candid images in addition to the traditional pics.

Definitely call Thomas Paul he will work with you and hes really down to earth so you don't feel like your talking to a salesman!!

Duet: they have a super 5k package thast includes everything you could want...and they are open to negotiate. this includes 2 photographers.

I would reccomend Twelfth Night. They are amazing and their prices are SUPER reasonable.
Definetly check them out. Dom (the main photog and I think, owner) is a great guy. I took my e-pics with them recently, they are in my album if you'd like to check them out. Also there is alot about Twelfth Night on the review board.

I am also using 12th night for Photo & they recommend Mittermax for Video. Travis from Mittermax is good friends with & used to work with Dom from 12th Night. Between the both of them I am paying uder $5000 for 2 photographers & 1 videographer. I believe they are actually going to make it a little more official anf offer combination photo/video packages for 2008. Call them up for details!
i'm not booked yet but will be booking with 12t night.. i am also getting 2 photographers and a videographer, and epics for under 5..

We are using Memento Photography in Smithtown. I don't think I have ever seen anyone use him on this site but his work is incredible and he is very down to earth. My package includes 2 photographers, a proof book that is beautiful and almost looks like an album in itself,a digital bride/groom album and 2 digital parent albums, a folio for my dad, engagement shoot, a bunch of prints (8 x10s etc.) and 75 thanks yous that are custom designed. He also puts about 100 of your best pics to music on a DVD liek a slideshow. He included 3 copies of this. Plus he puts a bunch of pics on his website that guest can purchase for themselves. We are paying under 3K.

I booked Jeffrey Studios...he was really nice and willing to work with us...you might have to change some things around, but he will work with you
