Photogropher!

Hi everyone!

Ok so my goal this month is to book a photographer. I just have some questions and i need your advice. What is a reasonable amount or average to spend on a photographer. I am looking for someone that is artsy, fun, and classic. Do any of you gals have someone that you absolutely love and want to share with me? I appreciate all the help!!

Here are some that im looking into...has anyone heard of them?

Artsan Photography
Angelica Glass
Something in Blue
Matthew Sowa-i actually have an apt with him on Sunday. Wondering if its worth going?

Check out something in blue, they do amazing work, one of the best on the list you gave IMO. They do documentary of every moment in the day with no photoshop. With the albums they have, you wont need a videographer.

i have to recomment my photog George from right angle. He is awesome and his work is greattt. I took my e-pics this weekend when i get them (should be today) i will post them.

strats at 2500 for basic photog with disc or prints full ownership of images with no ugly stamps
great communication emails very quickly, he is on facebook , updtates blogs after each shoot ..cant not talk about him enough , just awesome! here are a few pics from his website that i thought were cool

I just hired Modern Wedding Photography (Denise). Her work is amazing. She is reasonably priced as well.

Some other photogs I looked at and thought did great work were

my favorites were Angelica Glass which was my photographer and I also Loved something in blue's work, they do amazing work too. Those were my top 2.

Both are pricey, Luckily when i booked AG her prices were lower bc I heard it has gone up quite a bit since then and others told me the price but she is just amazing and her work speaks for herself

Something in blue, they are pricey too and i remember in 07 they were on the high side so not sure if their prices went up now. I will say they are the priciest on your list. I know somebody who went to check them out and it was around $8k range, i can find out exactly this persons quote if you really want, maybe it was a little less than that but not 100% sure

also i want to recommend somebody to you, AG recommended this photographer to my friend and she had her wedding in september and just saw her slide show and its gorgeous. He is located in the city and seriously does such amazing work and is a bit more affordable, his price is up on his site. His name is Henry Chan

here is his site, go to blog to see all the events he has done the past year and even over a year. He is also so nice and funny, i went with my friend when she went and booked him plus i was in the bridal party so we also spent time with him during the day

You're very welcome, he truly is amazing and honestly such a down to earth and cool guy. When I went with my friend to meet him we were in his office talking and laughing for at least an hour. Plus his work is also so amazing. Good luck in your search

Matthew Sowa has great work also. I wished I met with him. I would definately keep your appt. My videographer Orange Films works closely with Matthew Sowa and he raves about his work all the time. Very Beautiful
