I noticed that many people are going with the photographers from duet, but do you have any other suggestions of photographers to look at? I heard about Michaels, Marco and Patken...has anyone ever heard of them and is anyone using them?

They do things a little differently- you pay for the photographer, proofs and negatives (plus all digital pix on a dvd) ahead, and then after the wedding you can do albums and/or thank yous, etc... It's great cuz it costs less up front and because of that we were able to get a second photographer... One is for 10 hours, one for 5 and we are paying $2200. Dominc also gives you lots of ways to do things yourself to help you save even more... I can look for my price list if you are interested, but he is great and their work is AMAZING! Do a search on here-- you'll find tons of Twelfth Night brides!

12th Night bride here. Dominic is the coolest.

We got one photographer for 8-hour photographer and one 4-hour photographer for only $1725.

we''re using Duval. They really work with your budget. and their VIEDO on DVD was AMAZING! My friend used them, adn her pics/video was AMAZING!! and Joel is very nice and friendly to work with! (they all are there!)

HE HAD NICE PICTURES, BUT DO YOU HAVE THE TIME AND PATIENCE TO PUT TOGETHER YOUR OWN ALBUMS??? I KNOW I DON'T. WE'RE GOING WITH PATKEN AND VIDEO GOLD FOR VIDEO.

I am using Patken. I think their work is awesome and you also get a lot. For video we are using Video Gold-ask for Joe. He does awesome work.
We didn't like Cassarino and we weren't crazy about 12th Night photography only because he was pushing us to make our own albums. I dont have the time or patience to make my bridal album and 3 parent albums. He does have nice work, though.

He will do the albums for you if you want, he just encourages you to do your own to save money! My FI is a graphic artist so he will actually be designing our digital type album and Dom will just have it printed for us at a MUCH lower cost.

My cousin used Patken and here engagement pix were beautiful! I haven't seen her wedding proofs.
