I have a huge bridal party and my moms house is tiny. I was thinking of just not having the photographer come the morning of to take pics of me getting dressed etc. i wouldnt do any other pics but that at my parents...my pics with BM and parents will be at the reception hall I booked this place primarily for picture ops. Do you think i should still have the photographer come to the house for those 'getting ready pics' its included in the price its not additional i just dont know if i should

It depends on how important those pics are to you. Do you have to have ones of you getting ready, or can you live without them? Honestly I wouln't let the size of the house determine your pics for that day. If your photographer is a professional he/she will be able to adapt to the surroundings, and get great shots in minimal time. HTH.

you can always have your fam and BP take pics while you are getting ready...It will still capture those moments even though they are not professionally taken

Re: Photos at home?
i would still do it...i live in an apartment and photographer came morning of. I think you'll want pics of you getting ready. It wasnt bad either at all, my bp came to my house with hair and make up done already except moh she had it done at my house. They changed in my moms room and then they hung out in the living room and dining room while i was getting ready. It will be fine, at one time i had my bp here, 9 girls, my mother, grandmother, 2 photographers , hair and make up artist and DOC...my dad came up for a little bit. I thought it was going to be hectic and crazy but it wasnt at all, it was really relaxed and calm the morning of and we werent all bumping into eachother

I definitely would. I mean those pics of your mom getting you in your dress, your MOH putting on your garter....pictures of your dress hanging (without you in it) can be really beautiful!!!

I agree with the other girls, you should definitely do the pics at home. I was on a tight schedule and had to be dressed and ready to go when my photographer arrived. Its a great time to just get to know how the photographer works and you get into a groove with them. If you feel its too many people, then just have the photographer take pics of you and your parents at the house.

you dont have to be ready when the photographer gets there...infact many ppl want pictures of them getting their hair and make up done so they dont want to be all ready...my photographer got to my house around 11:30-noon and we didnt leave my house until 1:30pm, i didnt even start getting dressed until like 1:15
when my photographer showed up i only had my hair done, didnt get make up done yet. When she first got there she asked for DOJ, invitation, e-ring to take pics of. Took pics of us getting ready, of me getting my make up done...then i had alot of time to kill lol i was sitting around with nothing to do so she took a bunch of pics of me, did kind of a mini boudoir session lol, pics of me in my boy shorts and stuff...then took pics of me getting dressed. Many of them just stand around and take candid pics of you getting ready

just letting you know if this is something you wanted...dont feel you have to be rushed and ready for when the photographer gets there bc the point is to get pics of you while you are getting ready and you'll want pics as youre getting dressed. Yeah definitely talk to the photographer and see what they suggest...just dont want you to rush if you dont have to.

You should have pics done at your home! That's one of the best parts about the pictures before the wedding!!!! You don't want to miss out on it!!! My house is not that big either..everyone has been advised to come after 1. You only have 1 wedding!!!! Don't miss out girl!!!
