we did before and were so glad we did.

We were set up to have out own private time to see ach other - it was beautiful, and captured on film.

Then, we got all of the Bridal Party pics out of the way.

We enjoyed most of our cocktail hour, and I was able to stop caring about my hair and lipstick - it was nice.

It's a personal decision.

We were both too nervous to wait until the aisle part anyway - too much buildup.

after. We have approx. 2 hours between the ceremony & CH, so hopefully we'll be at the CH too.

We're taking our pictures after the ceremony and before the reception, but we have 3 1/2 hours in between.

After the ceremony for us as well.

Before the ceremony. Ceremony and reception are at the same place, and we don't want to miss any of our party!

We are taking pictures before the ceremony since the ceremony is at the same place as the reception. We want to enjoy our cocktail hour.

definetely after....FH & I are more traditional and do not want to see each other before I walk down the aisle. It'll be kinda hard considering that he lives on my block and only one house separates ours. I'll ned to assign someone the task of keeping a lookout so that we don't cross paths before the ceremony!!!

Before. We don't want to miss the cocktail hour, and there is no time between that and our ceremony.

After the ceremony that will be the best feeling of the night. If he sees you before to me it would be like taking everyday pics. The reception hall will have plates and plates of the cocktail hour food waiting in your bridal suite!

We're doing pics before the ceremony, and a few with family during the CH.

Re: Photos before or after ceremony

we are doing as many as possible before without seeing each other and then the combined shots and entire BP after (approx 1/2 of CH)

we did after.

We had agreed even if we got married at the hall and were on a tight time schedule we would still do them after.
Its a personal choice.

First we took some of me and my family and then some of dh and his family.

Then the together pics were after the ceremony. I didn't want to see him before, so we waited. I'm so glad we did this. We really didn't have a BP, so we got to enjoy half of the CH and our reception. It was PERFECT!

Definitely after...my FI and I are a little old fashioned and we want to wait to see each other until I walk down the aisle. We don't want many posed pics anyway opting for a more journalistic and natural approach.
