has anyone done scattered pictures of family/friends on tables at their reception?
or maybe photo collages on tables or at reception?
I love the idea of having lots of old pictures around (family wedding pics, baby pics, etc) but I'm not sure how to do it. . .
any advice (especially images) really appreciated!

I've never seen them on the tables, but I've seen collages posted on the walls or near the guest book. I think it's a cute idea to put them on the tables though. Hopefully, somebody will have pics of somebody that's done this.

I would do a bunch of old/family pics on a table in the cocktail hour room near where the place cards will be, so people can look at the while they get their place cards. I wouldnt put them on the reception tables themselves though only because there will be so much on the tables already.

i had a picture of my DH and I from our engagement party and then around it was a picture of my parents on their wedding day, and his parents on their day. It was a hit!

we did it. We asked all of my aunts and uncles to give us their wedding picture. Obviously, we also had our grandparents and parents.
i got the idea from a review on this site to do a collage at the cocktail hour so that the picture of us and our family and friends dont clutter the tables
i'm putting pictures of FH and I, his parents at their wedding and my parents wedding picture on the place card table .
Assuming that FH can actually find his parents' wedding photo, I am going to do this too! Though I am thinking about putting it on the table with the cake. I have not decided which yet.

i am also doing all the family wedding photos displayed around the reception - i think this is not only interesting to look at (i love old Black and White photos!) but also shows your family lineage!
