there is no price it SHOULD cost, youll see that this varies greatly from one company to another. Whats a good price to you may not be for someone else and vice versa...I say you pick a budget for your photo/video and find photographers in that range. Ive seen some paying $3k-5k and others $8k and higher. There is no standard on how much it should cost, you have to think about whether they work for a big company which since they do more weddings bc they can do more than 1 wedding a day with all the photographers they have then they will usually charge less.
Freelance photographers who work for themselves obviously cant do that, and they pay for everything out of their own pockets so they will usually cost more.
A good price is whatever youre comfortable with.

Yeh it all depends on the photographer, the quality of work you want, how much things you need, etc.If you do a search for photographer prices, you wil come up with some things. Or if there is a specific photographer you like, post a tread on here and I am sure someone would be willing to FM you prices.
Who did you meet with? I'm sure if it was someone some of us met with, we'd give you the price we got!
And, I agree with the spending what you're comfortable with. What I might be willing to pay is different from what other girls might be willing to pay, KWIM?

i met with Proline and next week elite photo! I think its in the right ball park, Just want to make sure i'm not getting ripped off lol! thanks for everyone's feedback!
