Photo/Video Packages

So I've been doing some research on photographers/videographers and getting quotes from various vendors. I was curious what everyone was getting in their packages. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. TIA!

I am using a separate photographer and videographer.

For my photographer, I am getting all day coverage, the main photographer and her assistant. The main photographer is coming to my parent's house to take pictures 1.5 hours prior to our ceremony, and her assistant will be with the guys for the same time period. This also includes a lighting assistant. We are getting an unlimited number of images, and all images are given to us edited and on a thumb drive for us to keep. We also have joint ownership of the photos. Our package does not include prints or albums, those are all separate.

Videographer is similar, all day coverage, with the main videographer at my parents house for the girls getting ready 1 hour prior to ceremony, and a second videographer with the guys at the same time. They are doing the ceremony, and then at the reception we will have 3 videographers because of the amount of people we have. Our package includes an edited 30 minute cinematic style video and 3 copies of the DVD with extra chapters for just the special dances and ceremony included. We also get a DVD of all the raw footage and a 5 minute highlight reel or recap that we can share online.

That sounds right. Daria, if you haven't booked a videographer yet - you should really look into james sireno productions. his videos are amazing. i watch these wedding highlight trailers - I dont know any of the couples - and I catch my self tearing up in bed. check it out Ihttps://vimeo.com/65973276

We booked with Proline in Franklin Square and we are getting all day coverage (no hour limit), and two photographers & an assistant. One photographer is coming to my house whatever time we want (probably around 1.5 to 2 hours before, depending on if we decide if we want pics of us getting hair/makeup done), and the other photogeapher will be at my FH's house taking pics over there at whatever time they want the photographer to be there.

We get an unlimited number of images, and we get all of the images on a thumb drive (both the edited and unedited I believe) and we get a ton of prints as well. I can't remember how many of each size, but it was alot of 4x6 and 5x7 photos, a decent amount of 8x10s, and a couple of the really big ones. We are also getting about 175 thank you cards too. We also get one album for us, and would have to pay extra for parent albums so our moms said they would just use shutterfly.

OK, so for video we also booked with Proline because they gave a discount since we booked photo with them. It's very similar to the photo package: one videographer at my house and one at my FH's at whatever time we want them to be there. They will be there the entire day, through the reception and I liked them because they said 'if you don't realize we are there then we are doing our job'. I have been to weddings where the video is right up in everyone's faces and the light from the camera is really distracting, so we made sure to tell them we want them in the background and not bothering all of the guests!!

We get the unedited video about 2 weeks after the wedding (which will be like 8 hours long! not looking forward to watching that lol) and then we get like a 2 hour movie made from that with all of the chapters and stuff like that.
