Can any of you ladies give me an idea of quotes you are getting.
I was hoping to hire a local photographer but she isnt getting back to me so I am going to look into plan B.. Every place I am looking seems to be 2,000 for a basic photo package and 2,000 for a basic video package.. Is this the going quotes? IF you can help feel free to FM. Thanks alot in advance for your help ladies!!

That sounds about right. We were quoted around the same prices for photo and video when we looked around. You could save on video if you go with a traditional style rather than a cinematic style. Also, if you get photo/video from the same vendor, they might give you a discount.

That quote sounds about right. I'm paying $5000 dollars for both, which includes 2 photographers, 1 videographer, albums and they're with us all day.

I'm using Fade to Black. I know their prices went up since I booked them almost a year ago but if you tell Gil the budget you're looking to stay in he'll customize a package for you. Gil has been the best to work with. Pics of my engagement shoot are in my album. I've been extremely happy with their responsiveness and their work.

For photo I would suggest Ricky Restiano Photography and Pete Gebhart from Infocus Photography. For video I'd suggest J Castillo Films - They shot my cousin's wedding :).

I suggest Ken Hild for photo definitely!! Check out Pete from Wedding Cinema for video. They are both definitely in that budget!!

I booked Red Sweatshirt for photography and love the work I've seen from him. His basic package is $2,000. I booked Capture the Moment for video. They have packages starting at $1,199.
