how did each of you pick your photographer? and who are you using? there are so many out there!!!

She did my E-party and my E-pics they are in my album.

i love your epics barbara!
i wished i can take my engagement photos on a beach, it's too freakin cold now and next summer might be a tad too close to the wedding

Awwww! Thank you!!! Well you can take them next year... Unless you wanted to use your E-pics as a STD. But you could use them to make table numbers as well... so it really depends on what you want to use them for.

I chose Patken b/c my girlfirend used them and they were excellent with us the day of and her pictures were fabulous!

I am using duet. i picked them bc they did my bros pics and they were awesome. after mybros wedding my 2 cousins, and many friends of ours choose them too. they do a great job on photos and esp the video...it was amazing

i am using artie from arti-stic images. he was the third and final photographer that FH and i met with. the first photographer i absolutley LOVED. his pics were amazing. the only downsides were that his packages were small and his prices were high, also he wasnt available that day so he would have booked us with someone else.

the second photographer had great packages and great prices but his pictures were super cheesy!

the third (and one we went with) was a complete combination of both and i never thought that was possible. IMO his pictures are phenomenal! i love his digital style and the photojournalism. he offered us an amazing packages with an album of 100 pictures and for what we are getting the price was pretty good.

We are using Patken for photography and videography. They were one of my house vendors, so I checked them out their reviews from a couple different websites, and they were all great. We are looking for a photojournaltic approach, so they were perfect! Two of my friends used them as well, and loved them. Plus, they offer a discount to law enforcement and fire fighters - and my FH is a cop - so decision made!

HUH??? Discount!! I didnt know that! I am going to have to call them on this one! Im using them cause several of my friends have and i love their pics, and the are a preferred vendor for my place also. O0O0O0O0O0O0O...more money off the better!

I am using Amanda Picone for my epics, my boudoir pics and my wedding.
I found her when she was doing a free engagement shoot. Fell in luv with her work. Cancelled our original photographer and book with her.!

My dad dabbles in photography so we went to about 6 photographers, most of Lands Ends recommended vendors and a few recommended by friends. We chose North Island because his photos are gorgeous, he's really personable and everyone who has used him raves about him. He doesn't do as much as the traditional but he makes normal everyday people look like models.

08er crashing here....I went by price mainly cause I was in a budget, however I also let my gut guide me. the minute I saw my photogs work and how confortable she made me feel about being a budget bride I was in love..

I booked with George from Right Angle. I went to see a few, I think you will just know when its right. I had seen a few and was real iffy, after meeting with George I felt comfortable and just knew this guy is going to take sick pictures of us.
