Does anyone know how much it costs to hire someone to play the piano for the cocktail hour? At Giorgio's they have a grand piano in the room and I thought it would be classy to have someone play if the price is right. Unfortunately, we can only afford a DJ so this would be extra.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Piano player for cocktail hour
We are having someone play piano as guests arrive-- we are using one of our bandmembers for this.. If you are using a band, I would ask them.
Another suggestion is to call up these music companies that manage all the wedding bands- and see if they can provide you with someone.
I would also ask your banquet manager if they have any reccos.

When we went to dinner there to taste the food they had a house piano player.....and he was excellent!! We requested 2 songs Wise Men Say and The Way you Look Tonight and he knew them both and played them great!! You should call George Jr or Sr and get his number. I know he is available for the weddings they have there and he was great!! He is a very nice guy too!!

I am using Danny Costanza for the piano at Giorgio's....and I think he is about $250.
