My hair is the same color and length minus the bangs and I have to say I am thinking about it....

I do not like it- I think you will be unhappy after awhile. It will be a huge pain to grow out.

I have bangs, and I have tried not once, not twice, but 5 times to grow them out. I give up EVERY time.

I got bangs in February and am in the process of growing them out...if you must don't go with bangs as heavy as hers...JMO

Not as heavy as hers in the cover shoot....if you look at the close up of her on the beach with the wind blowing her hair....
that's the look I like.....

I think you should go for bangs- just not as thick as hers. Something wispy maybe- it is hard to tell because I don't know what you look like..

I have bangs and DONT DO IT!!!! It takes forever to grow out...I've been trying for like 5 years to grow them out and then I can't take it and I cut them again.

But I do like the style : ).

I give up because it gets too frustrating for me. And everyone is so used to me with bangs, that when I try and I get to the hold them back with a headband or clip stage, people look at me weird and tell me they like my bangs (gee thanks).

I would have loved to not have them for the wedding, but I'll deal!

she has very very thick bangs... they go way behind the crown to give her her bangs... they had her stylist on the other day on the show 'what not to wear' and he showed where he starts clipping her bangs....

I guess it just looks good b/c it's Heide Klum....not necessarily the haircut....
I am just bored....I have had the same long blond straight hair FOREVER and just want a change....
(but won't cut it short)

Ewww, I think the cover pic looks like a$$. The beach pics look a little better...but I'm not a fan of Heidi Klum - I don't get what the hype is all about (kicka$$ body but 'no thank you' on the face, IMO).

I had bangs from Sept - Dec '02...I've been growing them out. It's not so bad to grow them out if you hate them - especially if you don't go as thick as hers appear to be. If your hair grows fast, why not - I think it's fun to experiment with cuts (cause I don't experiment with color).
