Hey Girls! This is my sister in the bridesmaids dress we ordered. I am posting two pictures because the color on the dress looks totally different in each one and neither is quite it. Its not as shiny and gold as it looks in the first picture but its not as dull and purplish as it looks in the second one. It normal lighting, its somewhere in between... (Brown!). These are my questions... How do I dress my guys? I have been looking online for brown tuxes which I really wanted but I think they will not look right because the browns won't match. Also, if anyone comes across any pictures of bouquets that would look nice with this dress in the summer, please post. I was originally going to do only 3 white roses for the regular bm and a full white rose bouquet for the maids of honors (only way I'm distinguishing them). Now I'm not sure. Also, I'm in love with a bouquet for me that has some pink flowers in it (mostly white) and I'm not sure if it will throw everything off bc it won't be the same concept as everything else in my wedding. I can't really help much with flowers, flowers are notoriously not my thing lol, but I think for the guys if you went with a black tux and a champagne/gold vest and tie that would work, and tie that in to the top portion of the dress rather than do a brown.

The dress is pretty! I dont think black tuxes would clash. Just put a complimenting color for their vests. As for flowers...you can bring a swatch sample of the dress to your florist and they can help you match up flowers.

No I don't think so...girls do brown (like, real brown, not even just tafetta kinda brown) and black tuxes in the Fall all the time. I'm sure if you search for fall brides you'll see the combo...and yours wouldn't even be as severe. Plus if you keep the vests and ties a light champagne, it will draw the eye up more towards the gold of the dresses, not the brown. HTH!

Thanks girls! Do you think using the bouquet I like with the pink in the flowers will be okay for me even thought I'm not using pink anywhere else? That pic is in album too. Sorry for picking all your brains so much lol.

I know some who had the same exact bridal party dress and color and they had black tuxes and it look nice.

Thanks for posting the pics! I am so jealous. The necklace the bridesmaids are wearing is what I wanted to get for my girls! :) Too expensive but I found something else that was nice and on sale!

Do you have anymore pics of this wedding party and their BOK's I'm also looking for some ideas. My girls dresses look very similiar to this pic and I have been debating btwn, ivory flowers or a mix of ivory and Pink, ut a fushia.

Okay, firstly the dresses are beautiful!!! Your sister is gorgeous too, so that helps! LOL
I totally know that the color is gorgeous in person because it has a shimmer to it, right?
Anyway, it's stunning.
As for the guys, I definitely do NOT think brown is a good idea. It can come across as dated and like a fad and you definitely do not want anyone thinking that of your wedding or you don't want to look back at your pictures in the future and say *** was I thinking!? LOL
I thinkt hat the dresses are really elegant and that if the guys wore black tuxes with a soft gold tie and vest, that would look amazing. I also think that ivory flowers will look great with the girls and I don't see why you couldn't do some pink flowers in your bouquet--you're the bride, you are SUPPOSED to be different!!!
