i know its soon to book, but this cake is intricate...the detailing atleast, so the baker insisted i book in advance ! my FH mom is indian, so most of my wedding themes will be gold and reds..... and so this is what i picked as my cake, i know its not the NORM...most brides have a white cake with their florist decorating it...but i like it, its unique...and it goes well with my wedding theme and colors.... just thought id share a pic with u guys....
ill have red and gold... I DO or WE DO letters around the cake

do you ever watch the wedding cake contests on the food network? The woman that won made an indian designed cake and it was sort of similar, it's gorgeous.

the cake is pretty expensive- but its actually like a 'gift' from my inlaws....theyre picking up the bill for it, my parents are paying for the whole wedding though...

im PRETTY sure if i had to pay for the cake too i wouldnt have got her, theyre are lots of nice bakeries in long island....most leonards brides are using a 3 tier simple stacked cake and than asking their florist to decorate it with flowers...i was gona go that route too. looks great and well in pictures
