How could anyone have a party there...you should be embarassed to throw a party there. I went to the one in Westbury and MIneola and one was worse than the other.....terrible......I would be embarassed to bring my Italian family there! I suggest you look else where

I'm sorry, usually in these cases I sit back, but I have to say that that was extremely rude. The remarks about the calamari were valid, as it was your personal experience with the food, and you can't be faulted for that. But to say something insulting like that to other girls who have had parties there, will have parties there, or enjoy any of their restaurants is out of line. I'm going to chalk it up to the fact that you are new here. But that's not exactly a way to go about making friends.

My family is friends with the owner and several of the maitre d's there...I will more then likely having my bridal shower at the location in Woodbury on Jericho Tpke.
I have had christmas eve dinner there for about 6 years now...and each year we are always satisfied and happy with the way everything turned out. Everyonce in a while, depending on which chef is on that day, the calamri is a little bit tough and some of the sauces are a bit acidic, but the food is still tasty none the less and enjoyable.

If you have any questions about the place let me know!!

(Oh and the bartender on Saturday nights makes GREAT blueberry martini's )

Took the words right out of my mouth!!! I never speak up about anything but this was flat out rude and inconsiderate!!! I understand you are entitled to your opinion but have consideration for other peoples feelings!! Bashing other brides is not a good way to start out here!!! Everyone has their own taste and style that is ok but bride bashing is not ok on this site!!!!! FYI I have been to several parties there and have always enjoyed the food and service and that is my opinion.

So then simply say 'I recemmend Giardino's'. There is a huge difference between helpful advice and being rude. Your comments were rude.

I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that don't enjoy Giardino's!!!!

my family comes from italy and we had my sister's eparty here as well as my cousins confirmation party. everyone thought it was really good. maybe you just went there on an off day.

Majority of my family is straight off the boat and they LOVE the food there. We even take our family that comes to visit us from italy we take them there and they love it too!! Maybe you just went on a bad day...Could have happened, bc the restuarant you suggested I wasnt very fond of, Maybe I just went on a bad day, could be the reason, also personal taste could be the reason too!!
Try to reword the things you say, bc you are coming off as very rude and offensive. Not many people will listen to what someone has to say if it is worded the way it is....

This opinion is honest and worded in a manor that would not offend other brides. Yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion and all opinions are welcome as long as they are done with tact and consideration for the brides of the past or future that may have had or will have a party there!!

This is an opinion a bit harsh but your opinion in which you are entitled to...That place is nastyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! I don't recommend that place to anyone ...I don't know how it is still open for business.....The food had no taste or flavor and the cake they brought out was old!
