Ali it may not be too late to win back the Sorbet...

You can try list last attempt if you want....

Me and DH come from HUGE Italian families. We both knew how much food Villa served from another wedding we went to there. So were going back and forth on Pasta or Intermezzo and at one point almost added both.

Well we ended up with Intermezzo and it was so much better because I can't tell you how many people barely ate dinner because they were so stuffed from CH. And when I asked those who would question where the pasta course was (even though there was entire pasta station) they all said they didn't even realize it was gone because they were soooooooo full.

We got a really confusing card in the mail today...like a regular wedding card, not an rsvp card. In the regular card was the response card, the front said yes attending, and the back said sorry we can't attend! So what is it? The inside of the card was really weird too, said they lost the invite, then found it and filled it out yes, but then forgot to mail it, then 'refound' it and now decided to change their minds because the elderly parents (also invited, and yeses) go from feeling good one day to not good the next, so they decided that they still just can't commit 2 weeks out and decided to make the executive decision to not come, after giving verbal yeses. Sigh...they sent a gift though for themselves (not the parents), not that I'm looking for a handout LOL, but I guess it helps offset their places. Just s/ucks cuz I know this is not the last of the last minute dropouts, and I went from having 14 tables...to 13....to 12....I'll be lucky if I end up with 10, and have a boatload of these friggen hurricanes leftover!
