Picked the MOB dress!! w/ pic

It's official!! My mom has FINALLY picked a dress!! She is really picky (hates strapless, hates spaghetti straps, didn't really want a bolero jacket, the list goes on lol!!).....but she found something at Estelles made by Mon Cheri w/ short sleeves....it's so pretty!!! Now FMIL can start dress shopping for herself!!! She told me she's thinking of an orange dress.....maybe I should go along w/ her when she shops!!

anywho....here's a pic of mom's dress.......it will be in sage green.

sounds like my mom too! i really like this dress!! very pretty. i should show my mom.

its really flattering in person! and it's nice b/c the sleeves aren't too heavy (since Sept. could be hot), Bridal Elegance (where we are ordering from) usually has a discount....but Phyllis told me that Mon Cheri doesn't allow ANY discounts, so instead she offers free alterations.....the dress is $318.

OMG I feel for you Gabi!! You definitely have your hands full......I can't believe you might get transferred!! I was offered a promotion (which believe me, I don't think its a bad thing) but its in Jersey City!!! You know how I am w/ decisions!! lol We have to catch up...I'll send you an FM!

Are you sure we're not lost sibblings? I'm certain we have the same mom (she won't bare her shoulders, yet HATES boleros soooo much... we're getting her dress altered and transforming the bolero into capsleeves...)

OMG! that's too funny!!! my mom is so silly, she's so petite, so I don't know why she wouldn't want to show it off.....but she comes from the school of 'a woman should be covered up' blah blah blah.....she always tells me she hates my shirts b/c they don't cover my *ss.....it could be a freakin' button down shirt, totally not revealing, she just thinks a woman should cover her womanly assets lol totally bizarre!
