Picked up my dress!!

I just got home from picking up my dress! It came in last week and my mom and I went to get it today. I ordered it from Davids Bridal and I am not having my alterations done there so I needed to take my dress from them! Well, the dress is beautiful!! I am sooooooo happy! It needs some alterations...that was to be expected but Im not worried about it! Also, Kathi and I went to Craft Shoes yesterday and were very dissapointed in the service we got. I will never recommend them to anyone again. But on the other hand, we went to Sandy`s Shoes on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa and the service was excellant!! We both ended up getting shoes!! We also went to Bridal Botique in Massapequa and had fun trying on headpieces. Kathi ended up getting her headpiece. I have to go back and look again! We really had a great day together!! It was great to finally meet in person! Good Luck to all! Lisa

Picked up my dress!!

Hey Lisa Rose, I just got a call that my dress is in too! RK bridal is so fast! I ordered my dress last month!!YEH!! Can you believe that our day is approaching so quickly! I can`t believe it. I hope all is going well with all your planning! Keep me posted! Neda (another 10/20 bride)

For Neda & RK Bridal

I had a wonderful experience at RK Bridal---except for the fact that just last week (One week before picking up my dress), they called me and said that they don't have any proof that I have paid for my veil (which I paid for in August)--so now, in the middle of everything else, I had to find the receipt fo the veil and take that in. Besides that everything has been great, and my dress even came in much earlier than they had told me. Good luck!!

Thanks Neda. I will keep all of my receipts. I find the location is very easy to get to from Penn Station-my mom and I enjoy walking it together. So far I have not gone when it was busy- I think it's pretty big. I'm just worried that they will lose my dress between now & July. I also wonder about alterations. Thanks for your input.
