Picked up my proofs.. spent the past hour looking at them...and...

there are some amazing pictures that I love..

but I spent the past hour in tears..I obviously didn't realize on the wedding day.. but there are no pictures of me and my grandparents, or me and my godparents, or DH and his grandma.... etc.

DH also had his eyes closed in alot of pictures.. ones that could have been great

I know theres nothing I can do about it now so im trying to cheer up. They are putting them online in the next week so whenever it is done I can show you guys.

aww im sorry. Did anyone get any non pro prics with your grandparents, family that you missed? Maybe you can have them blown up and framed. Just focus on all the wonderful shots you DO have

no none.. my grandma isnt feeling well so she wasnt really up and around alot.. i got one picture of my entire family and grandparents but its not a good picture.. and i wanted one alone with them. I grew up with them they helped raise me so im let down.

but the picture of me and DH when he is not blinking or making a dumb face are great.. so im happy but im not at the same time

like i siad nothing i can do about it

I know how you feel..I am not 100% happy with mine either...there were a few missed opportunities, and pics that I wanted that weren't taken.

I feel that we have so much going on that day, we shouldn't have to worry about telling the photog how do their job They should know what pics to take, and if a pic comes out wrong, like DH's eyes closed, they can see it on their screen and take it again. (Sorry for the rant, as you can see, I'm still upset about mine too lol).

I am sure your album will be wonderful no matter what

Aww I know how you feel... we got some amazing pics too but I'm really sad that I don't have one pic of me, my mom, my dad and my sister together. (My parents are divorced so I have pics of everyone separately.)

I am sorry you are missing pictures that you wanted!! As for DH's eyes your photographer can cut and passed eyes from an open picture. So sorry again

aww i know how you feel! I never got a pic with my dads family or my great-aunt whos 93!

I also didnt get a pic of my invite or our rings, but that is easy to re-create but pics of your family is not!

Sorry to everyone that is not 100% happy with their pictures either.

I looked at all my proofs 4 times last night and I just feel so dissapointed.. but what can ya do. Trying to make the best of it. I have a few that I love though so at least I have those.

I noticed that none of the pictures with my family came out good.. someone has a weird face or their eyes closed or was just not paying attention.. so that s*cks too.

I also do not have ONE single good picture of me and my BM's together alone.

I have to stop looking at these.

I wish they were online already so you guys can make me feel better and tell me the ones you like! oh well.. in a few days

Aww, I am right there with you
There are so many missing pictures: my dress, the band, the rings, invite, individual pics of me with my bridesmaids or dh and groomsmen, many of our guests, cocktail hour food, the list goes on and on.
Call your photographer and see if there is anything they can do for you to make this up (maybe add free prints or more to your albums). I know this won't change anything and we can't go back but at least its something.
I keep trying to tell myself that I had an amazing wedding and it is in my memories even if it isn't in the photos. Feel better!

you could always take a re shoot...do a day after shoot w/ you and your hubby

when i got my proofs back i did the same thing...there were a few pictures i wish they would of got!

THanks hun!! Im starting to feel better. I brought them to work with me and my friend has been looking at them all morning telling me what is good and bad.. and she picked out a few really good ones that I dismissed before. I am upset that I cant redo the family pictures but ill get over it.

I just spent $100 ordering all the wedding pictures that friends took and the honeymoon pictures so I can make albums

I forgot to add:

my photog is allowing me to use other people's images in my pro album. I just had to get him the original image on CD or flash drive. So if anyone else got some pics that came out better or that your photog missed, ask if you can use outside photos.

I think everyone gets that feeling. I love so many of our photos but I have to say I hate that a lot of them we are squinting in, like our family photos.
