Picked up my proofs.. spent the past hour looking at them...and...

there are some amazing pictures that I love..

but I spent the past hour in tears..I obviously didn't realize on the wedding day.. but there are no pictures of me and my grandparents, or me and my godparents, or DH and his grandma.... etc.

DH also had his eyes closed in alot of pictures.. ones that could have been great

I know theres nothing I can do about it now so im trying to cheer up. They are putting them online in the next week so whenever it is done I can show you guys.

My friend and I literally looked through every picture 4 times and I feel much better about them now... I mean im still upset about the family pictures.. but I cant do anythnig about it.. but there are alot of great ones of me and DH and I am very grateful for that.

I feel your pain.
My mom is devestated that there are hardly any pictures of her and I and even my dad and I. And she is right. We dont have a lot of family pictures - partially bc of delays in getting ready and partually because it seems some were just plain old missed by the photographers. DH has a ton of pics with his family and I dont unfortunatly.
There are a some others pictures that I feel are missing too.

Although many of my pictures are gorgeous - when i l first got my proofs I only saw what is Missing.! Sometimes we are our own worse critics. I drove myself nuts.

I finally got over it and realized that when I create the album I am sure it will come out lovely anyway. At the end your still married to the man of your dreams right? Remeber the magic of the day which is always captured in your heart.

i have a question..for those of you who had a lot of shots missed, did you give your photog a must take list? i felt bad having such a detailed one, but now i feel like there's a reason for my insanity

Yes I did...I gave him one I got off of the boards, and tweaked it a bit. He still didn't get them all.
