If you hear of a band you might be interested in, you could see if they are playing a showcase. We ended up booking Arcadia on te spot after we saw them.

I heard Skyline Code Bleu at a friends wedding. THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!!! Everyone was dancing all night long. I think they run about 6K or more.

We are using Heart and Soul (franklin wayne music) they have several other bands too. They are 6800 for 8 pieces- they're awesome!

we're using Soul Street. They played at Billy Joel's wedding everyone recommended them highly. We went into the city to their rehearsal one night and I was dancing in the studio with them, they are GREAT but pricey...well worth it..it will make the party
I think the first thing you have to think about is the style you want.
Renegade & Mystic are considered Rock NYC swing is swing Faze4 is great, ..we wanted them as well but they were booked plus I wanted an all black soul band..
all bands play all types of music but with different styles.

My friend had Eileen & The Very Best - they were great. The played a lot of normal music, but they do Irish too

We used Soul Revival, and they were AWESOME. My cousin just booked them for her wedding next August. Now we need a florist www.soulrevivalband.com HTH
