Picking a ChURCH question.....

Picking a ChURCH question.....

Okay so I was going to originally get married at my RH because FH and I are
non-members.

Now we are searching for a church.... my question to you all is how do you go about picking a church?

What I mean is... do u 'interview' them to see if that is the right preist for you.

I am probably not making much sense but if you understand.... please help!!!!

It wasn't an interview for us. I am getting married at Infant Jesus Church in Port Jefferson, and the priest there told us that we can use any priest we would like even if they are not from the parish as long as we tell them in advance. We were wondering the same thing because we don't go to church as much as we should, we figured we'll try to go more often and see which priest we would like to do our ceremony. Hope this helped.

I have some churches in mind.

I asked a very nice LIW bride who is no longer on the boards about her beautiful church and I will be looking into that one this week.
