picking BMs -- anyone have trouble picking? (vent)

Wedding's now 9 months away and I have asked 2 people to be in my BP. My sister is my MOH and my best friend, who I met in college, is a BM. They were no brainers. There are 3 other people I am considering asking, but only want to ask 2 max, possibly just one. I know no one can tell me who to pick -- but, did anyone else have trouble picking? was there anything that helped you make the final decision?

I'm in a similar boat, also 9 months away. I don't have any really close friends and no sisters either (me or FH). So I asked my friend from college to be my MOH, figured it would bring us closer since we're not in school anymore and so far so good.

I asked 3 cousins to be my BMs (still have to ask the 4th) mainly bc I want my family to be represented in the BP. I wasn't particularly close enough to any one of them to see asking them to be my MOH, so that's another reason why I went with my friend. This way I figure they're alll BMs and it's equal.

Sorry I can't help you with who to pick, but I just wanted to let you know that I had a hard time too!

Kind of similar... i have no sisters, either does FH and all my cousins are older ...way older...and its just not their thing with families and so forth..My best friend from college was a no brainer... and a friend from home and another friend from school were my choices we are all very close....BUT FH was having more people...he has two brothers and a group of friends... i couldnt ask him to not have any of them... SO we left it un even, i did ask my 2nd cousin to be a jr bm and we have a fg

choosing is not always easy! dont worry! ask who you REALLY want in it, i didnt want to ask people just to have an even number or whatever things were going through my head..deep down you know who you want and wouldnt need to have...good luck!
