We went last night, westbury manor doesn't do a tasting. They jut give you a gc for the restaurant.
It went well. We had everything already picked out so it was quick and easy. We picked our linens and cake also. They didn't throw anything in tho. Its ok bc they already give you soo much stuff.

They didn't throw anything in?!?! Hmm...They threw in the mashed potato bar, candy bar, choc fountain, and a coney island cart (bc of my nieces/nephews)
I really brought them down though, I just wasn't willing to pay the price they were giving me...LOL

Glad it went well we are going on Monday. Then the following Saturday to the bakery. I'm hoping to find something beside Fonduent (sp?) or buttercream I dont' like either

ohhh I totally get it now. I'm sorry, so when you went to decide the menu, you went in with the gc to the restaurant? I have no idea how it goes, did you contact them to set up the menu? How soon in advance is this done?

I agree, I think I will have the hardest time with the cake because like you, I don't like Fondant or buttercream
