OK, if you haven't see my posts for the last days...I'm all stressed about photographers. lol I FINALLY made an appointment for tomorrow. Now, if only I knew what type of package I would want.
What did everyone choose?
If you could put together the perfect package what would it include???

Re: Picking Perfect Photo Package
our photographer sort of created a package for us. We wanted some things from one package and some from another so they created it for us. We used ADA Studios. For example we wanted more photos in our album and no parent albums since we can make those ourselves.

Re: Picking Perfect Photo Package
For me the main things I was looking for was a nice album, all proofs and a cd. Also, I know a lot of photographers offer online galleries which is great to share with family. good luck!

Re: Picking Perfect Photo Package
I actually don't think I'll want the really big pictures. This is what I am thinking:
My album with 75-100 pics 1 parent album for my FMIL (I doubt my father would want one and I could make one) 100 flush thank yous 2 8x10s 5x7 bridal party pics unmarked proofs
I think I want 2 photographers
the CD
Does that sounds right? how much do you guys think that would cost?

Re: Picking Perfect Photo Package
I would definitely recommend having 2 photographers. We only had 1 photographer + 1 assistant, and that's one of the very few things I would change about our wedding if I could go back in time.
Our album is the traditional 'reversible' format, with 75 pics.
2 parents albums with 25 pics each.
and a bunch of enlargements (don't remember the details of that right now)
We had 3 photographers (2 main, 1 assistant), and our package included
our album - 120 pictures 2 parents albums - 30 pictures each 100 thank you cards 1 16x20 2 8x10's all of our proofs printed, and unmarked all of our proofs on a CD
I would also recommend having more than 1 photographer (if it's within your budget).

Re: Picking Perfect Photo Package
We used artistic images for our photographer and we our package was
2 photographers (one was photjournalistic) Our album 36 8x10 (we upgraded a little from this) 2 parent albums w/ 25 5x7's 1-11x14 6-8x10 8-5x7 75 thank you's all of our proofs in a nice album disc of all our pics we also had a free engagment shoot, but we didn't do it
All for $3500. I dont think that was too bad. We loved our photographer, he was great and the photojournalistic pics were unbelievable!!! Oh, he also gave us 1/2 price on any other prints we wanted.

Re: Picking Perfect Photo Package
If you can get all your proofs on a cd without the company marking, it think thats KEY! technically, you dont need actual hard proofs and this IMO will prob only raise the price... and just think of how many get chucked!!
