do you pick your battles with FH/DH? Are there things he does that drive you CRAZY but you dont say anything because its not worth the fight?
Ive gotten into 3 fights with DH about silly stuff today. totally not worth it. but i have no self control!!!

ITA
but FH and I are funny when we fight. like we'll get mad and yell and everything, but if there are people around, they crack up because of how ridiculous we are. at the end of the day, we always go to bed happy, say i love you and know everything is okay.
I guess its not really 'fighting' more like 'bickering'

hahah that's us too. the best part is when he says, 'I don't want to fight.' yeah..you do. You just don't have a cool comeback!

Re: picking your battles
Well... yes and no.
I don't think we FIGHT all that much.
But we argue a lot. Little arguements. Over stupid, little things that one of us can't keep our mouths shut about. More often than not, nothing is resolved anyway so for me it's enough to just be able to get it out and say 'Hey, you're doing that and it's annoying.' though chances are he'll do it again anyway.

It all depends on my mood.

It depends. We learned in Pre-Cana (I know cheesy) that if something happens and you don't think it'll matter in a few days, then let it go. But, if you feel like it'll bother you still, then say something.

Re: picking your battles
Most things aren't worth the long-winded arguments....so I usually do pick my battles, as does he. But if something is truly irritating me, I check my 'tude at the door and just tell him openly 'hey, I don't know if you realize this, but ________' He does the same.

Re: picking your battles
i can't hold back if something annoys me ... and then i end up winning the argument / fight so it's positive reinforcement for me to keep fighting

Re: picking your battles
I definitely do NOT pick my battles. It tales a lot to set me off, but once I am wound up, I can't stop.

Re: picking your battles
I can argue with a nun so if I'm feeling something, I say it. (not always the best way to go) But DH doesn't like to fight and will make me laugh in the middle of an argument when I'm trying to be mad.

Re: picking your battles
I usually dont go nuts with him over the little things that drive me crazy... as I'm super picky/sensative to some things......
But then when I do make an issue over something, he doesn't get it that I've been SOO good at not being a nag.. that we then argue over it all......
I try to have self control, but all it ends up exploding out anyway!!

I don't think that is cheesy at all! I think that's really good advice.

Re: picking your battles
I probably should, but I pretty much tell him every time something annoys me.
