Just kidding. My dream is to live by the water. Maybe if we move to VA we can find a place by the water or close to it.

I have to go check...they almost look suede in the pic...but they are not.., they are actually pretty light, and sorta shiny (I wanted that silk look without spending the $$$)

I was looking at some linen ones...but they didn't look substantial enough...yours are just perfect...love them!!

Yes we are in Suffolk County....I need to find before pics so everyone could see horrendous condition this home was in when we bought it, gutting a house can really make a difference

We are buying another house right now and my husband was thinking of doing green in one of the rooms. I have to show him these pics.

Good lord that's beautiful. I was too busy looking at those fabulous floors and that breathtaking view - I didn't even notice the curtains!!

ETS: Okay, now I see them. They look beautiful!!!! Then again, you could have used bear skin for curtains and that room would still be beautiful...

Most of the curtain stores we went to told us that roman shades usually stand on their own because they are so beautiful and they look like a valance when you pull them up. But I really want them with my curtains anyway
Do you have pics of your shades? Where did you buy them?
